Area of Responsibility - Curriculum
Pecuniary Interest and other Governor appointments - Birkenhead High School Academy Teacher

I am a former professional footballer, having retired from the sport in 2015. Following my retirement, I pursued a degree in law before qualifying as a teacher. I am now proud to serve as a Deputy Headteacher at an academy that supports children aged 3 to 19.

My own children attended Willaston Church of England Primary School, and I have always recognised it as a truly special place—warm, welcoming, and committed to every child’s development. I chose to become a governor because I am passionate about ensuring that all children have access to a nurturing, engaging, and high-quality education. I believe in the power of strong, values-led leadership, and I’m proud to support the school’s ongoing growth and success.
